Steps to Set-up Instrument/Stock - V7.3.3

To perform these steps, Login to ADBMS tool using the ResearchWise credentials.
Step1: Log in to ADBMS, Click the Instrument option under Instrument section.

Step2: Enter the instrument name in the Instrument name text box and click on the search button. Select the instrument name from the select instrument drop down box.

Step3: Navigate to Data vendor codes section and Select the vendor name as “FactSet” code from the dropdown list.

Step4: Click on ‘Reupload historical data’ that will reupload the historical values of the instrument into the database. 

Step5: Select the instrument source from the available list or you can click “Select all” option to check all the available instrument sources and Click on Update.

Step6: To check whether prices are downloaded or not, go to “Time series” and search for the instrument. Select the instrument source as “Closing Price” and click on “Get Time Series” to get the closing price history for the instrument.

Step7: Once the closing price is downloaded in the system click on ‘Rebuild derived time series’ to get the adjusted prices.

Note: This activity of reuploading historical data into database approximately takes 30 minutes.

Accounting template/RW Sheet mapping
1) In ADBMS, Navigate to Accounting templates under Template section and locate Manage forecast source membership.

2) Click on Manage Forecast Source Membership window; search for the instrument via name and select the available accounting template from the list.

3) Click on the Add button to add the accounting template for the selected instrument. 

Note: Always select “Do not require start year” option.
