Scenario

User was getting error message "No product formatting" while generating company summary.

Root cause:

The product template formatting mapping is missing for the stock on which company summary is generated.

With version 5.2, Defaults functionality has been introduced so that system can have a default mapping (of -1) instead of individual mapping for each stock to a template in the table researchwise_company_product_formatting.

If client version is 5.2 or above and still face this error, consult ICG to perform default mapping as well.

Resolution:

1)    Login to ADBMS, Navigate to Instrument page and search for the stock.

2)    Click on the ‘Manage instrument product formatting’ link and search for the source instrument from similar industry/accounting template.

3)    Click on ‘Search’ to search the ‘Instrument’ for which the ‘Product Formatting’ needs to be applied.

4)    Check all the ‘Analec Products’ to apply the Product Formatting for an Instrument under the ‘List of Products’ and click on ‘Add’. Once done, click on ‘Close’ button to close the window.
