Adding Instrument Restrictions - v7.3.3

Steps to add Instrument Restrictions

Restrictions can be applied to an instrument from ResearchWise webapps by following the below steps:
  1. Login to ResearchWise Webapps using the ResearchWise credentials.
  2. Click on ‘Manage Restrictions’ under Research Library> Compliance section.


  1. Now select the Forecast source.




  1. Select the Instrument for which the restrictions need to be added.



     5.      Click on Restriction and if no restriction is applied, you will a link to Add new Restriction.


  1. Click on Add New Restriction. You will get a pop-up screen where you can select the type of restriction to be applied to the selected instrument, the dates, Start Date from which the restriction is to be applied and To Date till what the restriction on the instrument will be active, select the user who has requested this restriction and the selection to update a restriction document.

The Restriction document contains the text summary that you want the analyst to see.
